Summary of July 2014 Deacon Board Meeting

• Semi-annual financial report will be presented on July 27 at 1:00pm. 
• A total of 97 inactivated members have been removed from the church membership roll. The name list has been posted on the bulletin board. 
• Praise dance will be held every Thursday between 9:30am – 10:30am starting from September. Free for September. $5 per month or $2 drop-in fee starting from October. 
• The ordination ceremony of Pastor Alan will be held on November 9 at 3:00pm. The celebration banquet will be held at 6:00pm at Fortune House Seafood Restaurant. Ticket is $35 per adult, $17 per age 4-10 child, free for child age 3 and below.

• Summer camp carwash fundraiser event has raised $390.30 last Sunday. Thank you all for their participation.

• “Immerse in God’s Word For 30 Days Campaign has been launched. The final movie night is on July 16 at 7:00pm. Please refer to the bulletin board and poster for details.

Sunday Service Time Change

Due to summer camp, there will be a joint worship service on July 13 (Sunday) at 11am. Simultaneous translation of the sermon is available. Adult CE will be cancelled, while CitRUs will provide a simplified lesson.

• In remembrance of our Lord Jesus’ death on the cross for our sins, Holy Communion is held on the first Sunday of each month. If you have openly declared your faith and commitment to Jesus Christ through baptism, you are invited to prepare your heart and partake in the Holy Communion with us. 
• The monthly community meal will be served right after worship service today. Please check with Clemmie and Shera if you are interested. $6 for adults and $3 for children under 10.
