Announcements - July 26, 2015

• Church prayer meetings are held every Sunday at 10:30am at the office. All are encouraged and welcome to attend. 
• Worship duties list is posted on the church website. Please contact Deacon Peter, Deacon Justin or the church secretary if you are not available for the duties. Please do not make changes on your own.
• Try to use offering envelopes for your tithe and offering. If you have forgotten your offering number, please contact the church office. 
• Congregational meeting for the semi-annual financial report will be held today at 1:00pm. Members are encouraged to attend the meeting. 
• Children Summer Camp is from July 6 – August 28 Monday to Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm. Please contact Clemmie Cheung for registration and more details. 
• 50 days of transformation has started on July 12. Weekly journal is given out to those who have signed up. Please pick it up and sign as you come in. Do bring them back on Fridays for small group session. 
• Registration for ‪‎AWANA‬ in Sep15-Jun16 is now open and is accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Clubs include T&T, Sparks, Cubbies, and Puggles(NEW)! Please contact Pastor Alan for more details. 
• WBC301 (a course to equip people with the skills they need for ministry) will be started in mid-July. This course is for baptized members who want to find out their spiritual gifts and a place of ministry at Westside. If you are interested in this course please contact Pastor Gladys at your earliest convenience. 
• For those who are new to Westside and if you have not filled out a guest record form, please get one from our ushers. Also contact Pastor Gladys or one of our SG leaders if you want to know more about us or join our small groups. 
• We plan to start the Duke of Edinburgh program so as to reach out to non-Christian teens and youths. If you are interested to know about this ministry, there will be a sharing and Q & A session on July 26 right after the semi-annual general meeting.

Summary of July Deacon Board Meeting

• Effective July 1, 2015 the church’s insurance company has been changed to Wynward Insurance Group. 
• The current GZone coaches are Jason Kwok, Joanna Lai, Kelly Lo, and Kenald Yu. Stephan Kwok will join the team in August 2015. 
• As per the insurance company’s policy, all volunteers involved in the ministries with minors (children under the age of 19) must have the criminal record checks every 2 years or not exceeding 36 months between checks. 
• The yellow lines on the upper parking lot have been repainted.
