Announcements - July 23, 2017

• Church prayer meetings are held every Sunday at 10:30am at the office. All are encouraged and welcome to attend. 
• The monthly bulletin has been posted on the bulletin board. Please check it out for important information. 
• There will be an EM BBQ on Aug 6 after service. Do invite friends to come. Please register with your SG leaders before July 30. It’s $10 per person. 
• WBC101 will commence soon. For those who would like to be baptized or transfer the membership to Westside, please contact Pastor Gladys. 
• The congregational meeting will be held on July 30, 2017 at 1pm. Members please make time to attend. The Agenda is as follow: 
1. Semi-annual financial report of 2017. 
2. Approve Justin Chen to replace Peter Cheung as one of the deacon representatives of the nomination committee.

• Children program will not be offered in the month of July during EM worship service. 
• Small groups’ leaders and GZone coaches prayer meeting will be held right after worship service at Room E today.

Summary of July 2017 Deacon Board Meeting

• Su Juan Chen has passed away on June 23, 2017, and her Committal Service was held on June 29. She was baptized by Pastor Anders at a hospice on June 22 and became a member of Westside. 
• A newcomers’ luncheon for Chinese Ministry will be held in September 2017. All newcomers are welcome to join. 
• The fire drill on June 25 at CM worship took 2 minutes 17 seconds to evacuate the congregation.
• Semi-annual Congregational Meeting will be held on July 30 at 1 pm. Agenda is as follow: 
1. Semi-annual financial report of 2017. 
2. Report the progress of Building Redevelopment project. 
3. Approve Justin Chen to replace Peter Cheung as one of the deacon representatives of the nomination committee. 
• The church will donate $100 to support Mission Fest 2018 Annual Conference. 
• The children program for EM will be cancelled for the month of July.

• Church prayer meetings are held every Sunday at 10:30am at the office. All are encouraged and welcome to attend. 
• The monthly bulletin has been posted on the bulletin board. Please check it out for important information.  
• Children program will not be offered in the month of July during EM worship service. 
• The congregational meeting will be held on July 30, 2017 at 1pm. Members please make time to attend. 
• If you want to use the church facility, please call the church office to make the reservation. This also includes those who want to leave their cars in the church parking lot during weekdays. 
• Please move your car to the upper parking lot after the worship service because we will lock up the downstairs garage door 30 minutes after our gatherings. 
• If you know your traveling/out of town schedule in advance, please notify the church office so that it can enhance the scheduling of worship duties. That includes: praise team, audio-visual, ushers & greeters, offering counters and scripture readers.
