Announcements - January 3, 2021

  • Prayer meeting will be held from Zoom on Sundays at 10:30am. All are welcome to join. Meeting ID: 640 432 540; Password: 010779 It will be the same Meeting ID and password every week. 
  • During this time of COVID-19, offering by cheques and e-transfer are welcome. Cheques can be mailed to the church office. Please call the office to confirm receipt of the cheque as there may be delays in the mail. E-transfer email address is westsidebaptistoffering@gmail.com Cash donations will not be accepted until worship at church resumes. 
  • Deacon Board Meeting will be held today at 2pm via Zoom. 
  • The annual general meeting will be held on January 24, 2021 via Zoom from 2pm – 3pm. The voting will be held on the same day from 3pm – 4pm via Election Buddy. Only members who have attended the Zoom meeting on that day are eligible to vote. 2020 Annual report and the agenda will be posted on the website on January 10, 2021.
  • Ash Studios are now for rent. For details, please contact the church office.

  • During this time of COVID-19, offering by cheques and e-transfer are welcome. Cheques can be mailed to the church office.   • Monthly bulletin has been posted on the church website. Please read it for important notices.

  • Through the Charity Auction on Dec 20, we have raised $768. The clothing drive has collected 71 bags of clothing. Thank you all for the generous donations. The fund raised will be donated to Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society and Union Gospel Mission.

Announcements - December 6, 2020

  • There were 108 members casted their votes during the online deacon election last week. James Lai (104 agreed, 1 disagreed, 3 abstained), Benjamin Mak (105 agreed, 1 disagreed, 2 abstained), Joyce Yu (102 agreed, 2 disagreed, 4 abstained). All of them have been re-elected as 2021–2023 deacons.

    • Limited edition Care Package. If you want to help out in preparing or delivering the care packages, please contact the church office. If you want care packages to be delivered to your non Christian relatives and friends during Christmas, please contact your small group leaders and give them the names by Dec 6. The delivery will be between Dec 19 -24. 
    • DONATIONS WANTED! Gifts to be sold at the Christmas Online Charity Auction are now being collected. We are accepting: new items of value; unique and valuable vintage items; and unused and non-expired gift certificates, gift cards, or gift vouchers (e.g. Groupons). Items should be new or in excellent condition. Please contact Pastor Alan by for details before December 13. Thank you for your support!     • Clothing Drive. The congregation can return the donated clothing to the storage room downstairs at the church from 1-2 pm on December 12 (Saturdays). Please put clean and re-saleable clothes in 26”x36” garbage plastic bags. When returning to the church, please wear a face mask.
