Announcements - June 20, 2020

  • Prayer meeting will be held from Zoom on Sundays at 10:30am. All are welcome to join. Meeting ID: 640 432 540; Password: 010779. It will be the same Meeting ID and password every week. 
  • During this time of COVID-19, offering by cheques and e-transfer are welcome. Cheques can be mailed to the church office. Please call the office to confirm receipt of the cheque as there may be delays in the mail. E-transfer email address is westsidebaptistoffering@gmail.com Cash offering will not be accepted until further notice. 
  • Ash Studios are now available for rental. Please contact the church office for more details. 
  • There will be joint SG gathering on June 24 (Thursday) at 7:30pm. Please make effort to join us for a time of teaching, discussion and fellowship. 
  • In person worship service will resume on July 4th, please contact the co-ordinator for arrangement in worship duties. Tickets will be reserved for those who are on duties for that Sunday. But please do register through Universe before Saturday noon for coming to worship on Sunday. 
  • As of July 4th there will be 3 worship services(CM: 9am and 10:30am; EM: 12 noon). The maximum capacity for each service is 50. The details of the reopening plan has been posted on the church website. Online Sunday worship service at 12noon is available during the transitional period.   • A special offering to Canadian Baptist Ministries will be collected for global missions today. Donation methods: E-transfer to: westsidebaptistoffering@gmail.com, Or Make cheque payable to: Westside Baptist Church Please specify CBM on your donations. 
  • Ash Studios are now available for rental. Please contact the church office for more details. 
  • The church will reopen on July 4th, and there will be 3 worship services(CM: 9am and 10:30am; EM: 12 noon). The maximum capacity for each service is 50. Congregants must register before noon on Saturdays for admission on Sundays. Details are to be announced. 
  • The church will hold a physical Vacation Bible School at the end of August. Details are to be announced. 
  • Regarding the contract specifications for the use of large-scale infrastructure machines by the neighboring developers, the church will seek advice from legal and infrastructure engineering consultants.

  • Mission Sunday Worship will be held on June 6, a special offering to Canadian Baptist Ministries will be collected for global missions. 
  • Next Sunday is the first Sunday of the month when we usually take the Lord’s supper together. Even though we are apart, we encourage all baptized brothers and sisters to prepare the bread and the cup and take the communion at home by following pastoral guidance.
