• Small groups will be going through transitions due to the changes in September re the worship. Any newcomers who are interested in joining small groups, please contact pastor Gladys.
• Church prayer meetings are held every Sunday at 10:30am in Room G. All are encouraged and welcome to attend.
• Anyone who has been baptized and wants to grow further in their Christian walk with the Lord, please join us at English 201 which will be starting soon. For further details please contact Pastor Gladys.
• Thank you all for supporting Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) in the relief of the Philippines Typhoon. We have raised $1,805 in the past two weeks for this cause.
• All members please stay after worship service today to attend the deacon election. Details of the election have been posted on the bulletin board.
• Deacon board meeting will be held today at 2:30pm in Room A.
• Christmas Charity Dinner will be held on December 15. Tickets will be selling at adult $12, age 4-10 children $6, age 3 and below is free. Funds raised including offering collected at the tables will be donated to Food Bank and Union Gospel Mission. Tickets are now available with small group leaders or Deacon Justin Chen. December 8 is the last day for registration.
• DONATIONS WANTED! Gifts to be sold at the Christmas Charity Auction are now being collected. We are accepting: new items of value; unique and valuable vintage items; and unused and non-expired gift certificates, gift cards, or gift vouchers (e.g. Groupons). Items should be new or in excellent condition. Contact Pastor Alan for details. Please note that the Church reserves the right to refuse any donations, and unsold gifts will be returned to donors. Thank you for your support!
• WBC is hosting a charity clothing drive from December 8-December 15. Details have been posted on the bulletin board and the church website. Net proceeds will be donated to the Vancouver Food Bank and Union Gospel Mission. Please bring your clothing donations to Room G.
• AWANA & CitRUS presents Joy, Joy, Joy – A Family Christmas Event on December 24 from 5:00pm – 6:00pm. There will be Drama, Games, Music and more! Free Admission, register online: tinyurl.com/xmasfx13 or sign up on the bulletin board.
