Summary of Feb 2017 Deacon Board Meeting

• The church will accept the proposal from Architelier to redevelop downstairs space, and will invite Tony Wai to be the adviser of the redevelopment committee. 
• According to Bylaw 7.6.4 of the Member’s Handbook, the Board removed a total of 3 deactivated memberships from the church membership roll. They are: Pauline Leung, Tony Wong and Wendy Wong. 
• The church will host a 25th Anniversary banquet at Fortune House Seafood Restaurant on May 7, 2017. Tickets for adults is $39 each, for kids ages 4-10 is $19 each and for kids ages 3 and under is free. 
• Due to room shortage, CitRUs small group will be using portion of room A on Sunday mornings for their lessons. 
• Due to liability and security concerns, all church key holders please be reminded of the following: Your church key is issued for a specific ministry purpose (such as small group gathering or praise team practice. 
1. Any key holder is not supposed to access and use the church building using his/her key for other purposes (including ministry-related and personal purposes) without informing the church office at least 48 hours ahead and receiving prior approval. 
2. Any party less than 3 people cannot stay alone inside the church building after office hours. 
3. The church building should be vacated by 11:00pm except when pre-authorized by the Deacon Board. 
• Church secretary will take her annual leave from February 15-19, 2017.
