Announcements - February 20, 2022

  • During this time of Omicron, we continue to have in person worship held at 11:30am. Please show proof of vaccination and wear a face mask. We also invite you to check your body temperature and sanitize your hands before entering the hall of worship. 
  • Brothers and sisters who are not fully vaccinated; or those who are showing any symptoms of COVID or who have other concerns, you are welcome to continue worshipping with us through Zoom at 11:30am.

  • We will not provide printed handouts for now. Please download from our website and print them at home for your personal use if needed. 
  • EM prayer meetings are held every Sunday at 10:30am in Room E. All are encouraged and welcome to attend. 
  • During this transitional period, cash donation is not accepted. The church is accepting offerings through the following methods: 
    • e-transfer to westsidebaptistoffering@gmail.com; 
    • drop off the cheque into the mail box at the main hall when attending the in-person worship service on Sundays; 
    • mail the cheque to the church. 
  • WBC101 (membership class) will start soon. Anyone who is interested to know more the biblical teachings about the gospel, the church and membership, please contact Pastor Gladys. 
  • The 30th anniversary celebration of the church will be held on May 1st. Tentatively include: 1) A joint worship service; 2) a food festival after the worship service, participants must register online, freewill offerings are welcome; 3) remake "Westside Baptist Story" short clip; 4) Give away souvenirs. 
  • According to the current government regulations, when participating in-person church gatherings, participants must: 1) show proof of vaccination; 2) sanitize hands and wear masks; 3) take body temperature; 4) maintain social distance. At this stage organized events with meals are not encouraged. 
  • The Ash Wednesday video-based Meditation Retreat’s material will be available at the church website on March 2 (Wednesday) from 7am to midnight. Brothers and sisters are welcome to participate at their own time on March 2. 
  • Please move your car out of the underground covered parking after 15 minutes because we will be locking up the garage door.
