Announcements - January 17, 2016

• Church prayer meetings are held every Sunday at 10:30am at the office. All are encouraged and welcome to attend. 
• Worship duties list is posted on the church website. Please contact Deacon Peter, Deacon Justin or the church secretary if you are not available for the duties. Please do not make changes on your own.  
• Monthly bulletin has been uploaded on the church website and posted on the bulletin board. Please check out for important information. 
• English WBC101 will commence soon. For those who want to know more about Christianity, or who are interested in transferring their membership, please contact Pastor Gladys for details. 
• Try to use offering envelopes for your tithe and offering. If you have forgotten your offering number, please contact the church office. 
• For those who are new to Westside and if you have not filled out a guest record form, please get one from our ushers. Also contact Pastor Gladys or one of our SG leaders if you want to know more about us or join our small groups. 
• Christian Education will be held today between 2pm – 5pm in the main hall. The topic is, “ISIS(ISIL) - What Christians Need to Know”. The next CE will be held on February 14, 2016. The topic is “The Old Testament Story”. Details and sign-up sheet have already posted on the bulletin board. 
• There will be a community luncheon today right after worship service. The community meal is $8 per person. Please register and pay with your SG leaders. 
• Annual general meeting will be held on January 24, 2016 at 1pm. Members are encouraged to attend. 
• 2015 annual report is ready for download from the church website. For those who would like to have a hard copy, please sign up at the bulletin board. 
• Ash Wednesday Labyrinth Meditation Retreat will be held on February 10, between 5:00pm and 10:00pm. The last entry is at 9:00pm. Advanced appointment booking at at the church website or by calling 604-266-5602 is required. (RSVP on Facebook does NOT count). Space is limited. First come first served. Introduction, guidance and meditation materials will be provided. If you want to know more about "labyrinth," please use browse the church website or pick up a fact sheet at the entrance of the hall. 
• Lent Labyrinth Meditation Retreats will be held between February 18 and March 24, every Thursday, open from 6:00-10:00pm; last entry at 9:00pm. Advanced appointment booking at the church website or by calling 604-266-5602 is required. (RSVP on Facebook does NOT count) Space is limited. First come first served. Introduction, guidance and different meditation materials for each week will be provided.
