Summary of Deacon board meeting on January 3, 2016

• The roles of 2016 deacons are as follow: Hospitality – Samson Chan, IT & Mission – Peter Cheung, Facility Maintenance – Keddy Au Yeung & Godfrey Leung, Audio & Visual – Justin Chen, Resources Lily Liu, Outreach – Tsz-Lam Mak. 
• The signing officers of 2015 are Deacon Keddy Au Yeung and Deacon Tsz-Lam Mak. 
• 2016 alarm contacts are 1) Deacon Peter Cheung, 2) Deacon Keddy Au Yeung and 3) Deacon Godfrey Leung. Please contact the person according to the above order should the alarm is triggered. The alarm code will be changed. 
• The fire marshals of 2016 are Deacon Samson Chan and Deacon Justin Chen. 
• The agenda of January 24, 2016 Annual General Meeting is as follow:

3. To approve amendments of the following bylaws:  1) Replace each occurrence of “Church Council” to “Deacon Board”;  2) 7.5 The Church Council Deacon Board shall be responsible for arranging pulpit supply during pastoral vacation periods the absence of all pastoral staffs. 
4. 2015 financial report. 
5. To approve 2016 budget. 
6. To approve 2016 nomination committee. Deacon Rep: Peter Cheung, Lily Liu, Tsz-Lam Mak; Congregational Rep: Jonathan Chan, Jenny Tse, Lauren Wong 
7. Any Other Business. 

• The CBWC assembly will be held online on May 26. The board has nominated Deacon Justin Chen and Deacon Peter Cheung as delegates. 
• Pastor Gladys has been invited by Carey Theological College as one of the panel members of the mini-semester between February 1 and 5. 
• Pastor Gladys and Anders will take vacation between March 2 and 4. 
• There will be an outreach event on Father’s Day.
