Announcements - January 31, 2021

  • Prayer meeting will be held from Zoom on Sundays at 10:30am. All are welcome to join. Meeting ID: 640 432 540; Password: 010779. It will be the same Meeting ID and password every week. 
  • During this time of COVID-19, offering by cheques and e-transfer are welcome. Cheques can be mailed to the church office. Please call the office to confirm receipt of the cheque as there may be delays in the mail. E-transfer email address is westsidebaptistoffering@gmail.com Cash donations will not be accepted until worship at church resumes. 
  • Next Sunday is the first Sunday of the month when we usually take the Lord’s supper together. Even though we are apart, we encourage all baptized brothers and sisters to prepare the bread and the cup and take the communion at home by following pastoral guidance. 
  • Please notify the church office if your contact information (including: mailing address, phone number, email address) have been changed. If your legal name has been changed please notify the treasurer before February 7 for her to prepare the donation receipts. 2020 donation receipts will be distributed via email unless email address is not available. 
  • 109 members attended the annual general meeting via Zoom last Sunday. The voting results are as follow:

                4. Present and approve 2021 budget (104 agreed, 5 abstained) 
                5. Approve Pastoral Discernment Committee: (106 agreed, 3 abstained)

                6. Approve 2021 Nomination Committee: (108 agreed, 1 abstained)
