Announcements - July 21, 2019


  • Church prayer meetings are held every Sunday at 10:30am at the office. All are encouraged and welcome to attend. 
  • Monthly Bulletin has been posted on the bulletin board and the church blog. Please check out for important announcements. 
  • Semi-annual Congregational Meeting will be held today at 1:00pm. Agenda is as follow: 
    1.  Semi-annual financial report on 2019. 
    2.  Report the progress of building redevelopment and pledges for furniture and equipment. 
    3.  Report and discuss about the current condition of the air conditioning system 
    4.  Any Other Business. 
  • Praise God. The building permit of downstairs redevelopment project has been issued and the renovation has started and everything went smoothly. Please continue to pray for the process of the renovation and the completion date to be on September 1, 2019. 
  • Brothers and sisters who have made a pledge for the Building Redevelopment fund, please specify on the offering envelope “BR Fund” when making a donation. For those who would like to support by Congregational Loan (No/Low interest), please contact the treasurer, Cannis Wan. 
  •  “Invite Your One” summer campaign will be held on Fridays between July 5 – August 23. 
  • Music For Young Children will begin in September. Ages 3-6 are welcome to join. For those who are interested please register with the church secretary. 
  • A workshop on Praying more Deeply will be held today at room G between 2:00pm - 4:00pm. The material written will be in English. But the verbal instruction will be in Cantonese. The topic is – 3) Prayer for Repentance”. The details and sign-up sheet have been posted on the bulletin board. 
  • Please beware of sharp objects left on the ground when parking downstairs since it is a construction site. 
  • A Macaroons Sale Fundraiser event will be held today at 12:45pm, and the proceeds will be donated to the Building Redevelopment Fund. The recommended donation for two pieces is $5 while stock lasts. Since it is a charity sale, the donor will not receive a donation receipt.
