Announcements - July 11, 2021

  • Since the BC government will lift all restrictions on religious gatherings starting July 1, Westside Baptist Church has made the following new decision: 
    • We will resume 2 on-site worship services starting July 4 (Cantonese at 10:00am, English at 11:30am). NO need for worship registration. But Citrus at 10:00 still requires registration. 
    • We will not provide printed handouts for now. Please download from our website and print them at home for your personal use if needed. 
    • If there is the Holy Communion, obtain pre-packaged Holy Communion elements from the greeters as you enter. 
    • We encourage everyone to wear a mask, and respect everyone's personal space and comfort level. 
    • We encourage you to check your body temperature when arriving, and sanitize your hands. 
  • Stay home if you are displaying any symptom. 
  • If you are unable to attend worship services on-site, you are encouraged to worship with us using the live streaming on Zoom at 11:30am.

  • During this transitional period, cash donation is not accepted. The church is accepting offerings through the following methods: 
    • e-transfer to westsidebaptistoffering@gmail.com; 
    • drop off the cheque into the mail box at the main hall when attending the in-person worship service on Sundays; 
    • mail the cheque to the church. 
  • Ash Studios are now available for rental. Please contact the church office for more details. 
  • Please book rooms through the church office if your group would like to come back for regular (eg. praise team, small group etc.) or any special activities. 
  • Summary of the deacon board meeting has been posted on the bulletin board and the church website. Please refer to it for important message.
