Announcements - September 19,2021

  • Church prayer meetings are held every Sunday at 10:30am at Room E. All are encouraged and welcome to attend. 
  • Reminders of attending in person worship service at 11:30am: 
    • We will not provide printed handouts for now. Please download from our website and print them at home for your personal use if needed. 
    • We encourage you to check your body temperature when arriving, and sanitize your hands. 
    • Stay home if you are displaying any symptom. 
  • If you are unable to attend worship services on-site during the transitional period, you are encouraged to worship with us using the live streaming on Zoom at 11:30am.

  • During this transitional period, cash donation is not accepted. The church is accepting offerings through the following methods: 
    • e-transfer to westsidebaptistoffering@gmail.com; 
    • drop off the cheque into the mail box at the main hall when attending the in-person worship service on Sundays; 
    • mail the cheque to the church. 
  • Clemmie Cheung will be the new GZone coach effective September 2021. 
  • 2021 alarm contacts has been revised as 1) Deacon Tommy Tung, 2) Deacon Benjamin Mak, 3) Deacon Jason Kwok. Please contact the person according to the above order should the alarm is triggered. 
  • Congregants are encouraged to make special offerings towards the building redevelopment fund. But we do not encouraged congregants to make designated offerings for a particular ministry. Our priority is to pay down our existing loans. The current loans balance are - Congregational: $130,000, CBWC: $174,098. 
  • GZone ministry has budget for supplies, curriculums and trainings only. Meals and games will be paid by the participants. 
  • Masks and vaccines are not mandatory in a religious event only, not whatever event in the religious facility. Non-religious event in a church building will still require mask and vaccination proof. 
  • For security reasons, we will lock up the underground garage gate as people leave the building. So if you park your car in the underground covered parking, please move your car after the worship service.
