Announcements - August 16, 2020

• Prayer meeting will be held from Zoom on Sundays at 10:30am. All are welcome to join. Meeting ID: 640 432 540; Password: 010779 It will be the same Meeting ID and password every week. 
• Please update your phone or email address if you have recent changes so that we can stay connected during this special time of social distancing. If you have any special needs or prayer concerns, please contact Pastor Gladys for church prayer support. 
• In response to the explosion in Beirut, the church is going to raise fund for Lebanon. From today to August 17, the congregation can make donations via etransfer or cheque. Make the check payable to "Westside Baptist Church" and indicate “Lebanon” or email westsidebaptistoffering@gmail.com, indicating the remittance intention. The church will gather to donate to Canadian Baptist Ministries at one time, and donations of $20 or more will receive a donation receipt. 
• During this time of COVID-19, offering by cheques and e-transfer are welcome. Cheques can be mailed to the church office. Please call the office to confirm receipt of the cheque as there may be delays in the mail. E-transfer email address is westsidebaptistoffering@gmail.com Cash donations will not be accepted until worship at church resumes. 
• The monthly bulletin has been posted on the church website. 
• The church will organize a clothing drive, and the funds raised will be allocated to general fund. The congregation can return the donated clothing to the storage room downstairs at the church from 1-2 pm on August 22 and August 29 (Saturdays). Please put clean and re-saleable clothes in 26”x36” garbage plastic bags. When returning to the church, you must wear a face mask.
