Announcements - June 27, 2021

  • In-person worship service will resume on July 4th, please contact the co-ordinator for arrangement in worship duties. Tickets will be reserved for those who are on duties for that Sunday. 
  • CitRUs parents please drop off/pick up your child (children) at the Studio’s entrance located at the open parking lot downstairs. 
  • We will not be providing printed bulletin and sermon outline. Congregants can download and print their own copies beforehand at home for their own use. 
  • Online registration through www.universe.com/westside or by phone for each week’s worship service will be opened from Wednesday noon to Saturday noon. No admission without registration. 
    • Arrive at the church no earlier than 15 minutes before worship/ wear a mask / maintain a two-meter social distance (unless you are from the same household) 
    • Check in / take body temperature / sanitize hands / on Communion service week , if you have been baptized, you can ask the greeter for the pre-packed communion 
    • Disinfect the chair before sitting. 
    • Please do not sing out loud until rules are relaxed. 
    • Disinfect the chair after worship service. 
    • After service leave the hall right away. Keep the social distance. Please fellowship outside and move your car within 15 minutes. 
  • If you are unable to attend the in-person worship service, you may log in through https://tinyurl.com/EMWorship at 12noon to attend the live streaming worship service during this transitional period. 
  • To protect each other, please observe the guidelines provided by the BC Ministry of Health. If you are sick, please stay home. 
  • During this transitional period, cash donation is not accepted. The church is accepting offerings through the following methods: 1) e-transfer to westsidebaptistoffering@gmail.com; 2) drop off the cheque into the mail box at the main hall when attending the in-person worship service on Sundays; 3) mail the cheque to the church. 
  • Next Sunday is the first Sunday of the month when we usually take the Lord’s supper together. For those baptized brothers and sisters please pick up the individual packed communion at the door. Those who are unable to attend the in-person worship service, we encourage you to prepare the bread and the cup and take the communion at home by following the pastoral guidance. 
  • Ash Studios are now available for rental. Please contact the church office for more details. 
  • Please book rooms through the church office if your group would like to come back for regular (eg. praise team, small group etc.) or any special activities. All events should be held under the guideline and protocol of BC Ministry of Health.
